I’m currently in the middle of watching The CW series Supernatural for the first time and I’ve still got a ways to go before I get caught up. But, for those of you who are caught up and anxiously waiting for the return of the 15th and final season of the series, we’ve got an extended trailer for you to watch today for the series titled “Run Baby Run.”

There are seven more episodes that are coming and those will start airing in October! This trailer offers fans an exciting tease of what’s coming. Here’s the synopsis:

The epic journey of the Winchester brothers comes to a close as Supernatural returns for its final season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and the angel Castiel (Misha Collins) have conquered monsters, demons, Heaven and Hell, and in the show’s 14th season, the Winchesters grappled with the Archangel Michael possessing Dean. In a valiant act, Sam and Dean’s surrogate son Jack (Alexander Calvert) destroyed his soul to redeem his adoptive father. But this proved to be a fatal error, leading to the accidental death of Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith). The 14th season also featured the return of John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) for the show’s historic 300th episode.

Now, in Season 15, Sam and Dean find themselves facing a threat beyond anything they’ve ever grappled with… anything they’ve ever imagined: God himself.

The long-running series is created by Eric Kripke (The Boys, Timeless, The House with a Clock in Its Walls). Supernatural is set to return on Thursday, October 8th. Watch the new trailer below and let us know if you’re excited about where the story is headed with the final season!
