Keanu Reeves recently appeared on BBC’s The One Show, to discuss Bill & Ted Face The Music, but during the interview, The Matrix 4 was brought up. It’s funny how the hosts of the show act so surprised that a Matrix 4 movie is happening because this news has been around for a long time.
Anyway, while talking about the upcoming sequel, Keanu Reeves said that Lana Wachowski has written “a beautiful, beautiful script.” He went on to reveal that the film will tell a love story that he calls “inspiring” and shares that “it’s another version of a call to wake up. It entertains, great action, and all will be revealed.”
Reeves didn’t offer any plot details, but it will be interesting to see what kind of story this highly anticipated film ends up telling. I just hope that it’s a strong story.

Wachowski co-wrote the script with Aleksander Hemon and David Mitchell, and the film also stars Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith, reprising their iconic roles as Neo, Trinity and Niobe. The film will also star newcomers Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Toby Onwumere, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is rumored to be playing young Morpheus. Jonathan Groff also stars in the film. His character may be a replacement for Agent Smith?
