Beamdog recently released Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition for iOS. This is a classic Dungeons & Dragons RPG video game that fans have enjoyed for years and now fans can play on their Apple devices for on-the-go gaming. This release also features cross-play with Android, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One for co-op fun with your friends no matter what platform they use. Fans will also notice improved graphics with automatic UI scaling and pixel shaders along with other graphic controls for users to adjust for their preference.

The iOS release of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition brought with it 6 DLC adventures including Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark, Kingmaker, ShadowGuard, Witch’s Wake, and the Adventure Pack. There are also six premium modules available for purchase as well: Tyrants of the Moonsea, Darkness over Daggerford, Infinite Dungeons, Pirates of the Sword Coast, Wyvern Crown of Cormyr, and Heroes of Neverwinter (portrait pack).

Trent Oster of Beamdog released the following statement:

As the Project Director for the original Neverwinter Nights, I’m humbled to see how strong the community remains today. It is the players who keep this classic fresh, so I’m thrilled to add a brand new platform for fans to experience the adventure and connect with each other— especially amidst the COVID-19 crisis and social distancing.

Adapting an old school CRPG for use on iPads and iPhones was no easy task. The team did a fantastic job making gameplay feel natural— even for someone with hefty blacksmith hands, like me.

You can purchase Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition for iOS on the App Store for $9.99.
