Lucasfilm has released a new promo spot for The Mandalorian Season 2, which is set to premiere soon! We don’t have much longer to wait for the first episode to drop, but if you want to see a bit of exciting new footage, this spot will quench your thirst.

The quick bits of new footage include Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and the Mando (Pedro Pascal) blasting their way through a door. There’s also a shot featuring Greef Karga (Carl Weathers).

The Mandalorian Season 2 was written by Jon FavreauDave Filoni, and Rick Famuyiwa. Favreau wrote six of the eight episodes with Filoni writing Chapter 13 and Famuyiwa writing Chapter 15. Favreau, Filoni, and Famuyiwa are also directing episodes along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Peyton Reed, Robert Rodriguez, and Carl Weathers.

Some of the other cast members include Michael Biehn, who is playing a bounty hunter, and Sasha Banks in an undisclosed role. When previously talking about Season 2, Favreau said:

The new season is about introducing a larger story in the world. The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.”

Filoni added, “Everything gets bigger, the stakes get higher, but also the personal story between the Child and the Mandalorian develops in a way I think people will enjoy.”

Here’s the synopsis:

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

The new season of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ on October 30, 2020. We’re almost there!
