Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS and ALIEN: COVENANT Combined in a Fan-Made Edit Titled PARADISE

If you enjoyed Ridley Scott’s Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, there’s a fan-made project that you will be interested in checking out. It’s titled Paradise, and it combines the two films into a single movie.

The fan edit was created by Job Willins, and it’s now available to watch/download online. The goal was to put the focus on the character David, the android character played by Michael Fassbender. The film intercuts material from both films “to tell a story in a way that favors the strengths of both.” Willins said:

“With a runtime of about 2.5 hours, I aimed to enhance much of the excitement and mystery from the two films by unfolding them in parallel and playing them off one-another. This method also allowed opportunities to emphasize the major theme of creator/creation relationship that runs through both stories and hopefully achieve a unique viewing experience rather than merely a significantly abridged double-feature.”

This is an interesting way to tackle a story with two films that resulted in mixed reviews. Some people loved one of the films and hated the other. Some liked both and some hated both. But taking the best parts of each of them to craft a single film will be an interesting watch.

For more info on the project, and to find download links to watch, visit Willins’ Tumblr post here. Check out the trailer for it below and let us know if you’ll be checking this out.
