We’ve got a new trailer for you to check out for a reality series that’s coming to Netflix that follows a group of students attending “Gallaudet University, a private college catering to the deaf and hard of hearing.” The series is produced by deaf advocate and actor Nyle DiMarco, who says, “The goal of the series is to show deaf people as humans, from all walks of life.”

The eight episode season follows the students as they battle the typical issues presented to young adults as they navigate college, like relationships, grades, homesickness, mental health, and their unique points of view that stem from being a part of the deaf community.

Check out the trailer below, and watch Deaf U on Netflix on October 9th.
