Trailer for Netflix's CRIMINAL Season 2 Features Kit Harrington as a Suspect

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

The first season of Netflix’s crime series Criminal was a decently made and interesting series. It’s a police interrogation drama, and what I liked about it is that each story is set within the confines of a police interview suite.

The streaming service has released the first trailer for the second season, and it puts a spotlight on the new set of suspects that the stories will center on. Those suspects will be played by Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe), and Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda).

With each of the stories being set in an interrogation room, we are presented with a “stripped-down, cat-and-mouse drama that will focus on the intense mental showdown between the cop and the suspect in question.”

The show makes a point of telling stories from around the world, and Season 2 is comprised of 12 unique stories set in four different countries, which include France, Spain, Germany, and the UK. Each of the 12 episodes, all 45 minutes in length, will be in the local language of the country it takes place in, as well as be written and directed by local creatives.

Criminal was created by showrunners George Kay (Killing Eve) and Jim Field Smith (The Wrong Mans). If you haven’t watch the first season yet, you should check it out! It features David Tennant (Doctor Who), Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter), and more.

The series will be making its return on Wednesday, September 16th.
