A new piece of promo art has surfaced for Marvel’s Eternals that I thought some of you might want to check out. This is an image that will be popping up on some of the film’s merchandise and it features the full Eternals team gathered together.

The cast of characters includes Angelina Jolie as Thena, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Richard Madden as Icarus, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, and then there’s Kit Harrington as an archeologist named Dane Whitman.

A lot of the film’s details have been kept under wraps, but here’s the synopsis that was released for the movie:

Marvel Studios’ The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.

In the comics, The Eternals were sent to Earth 35,000 years ago by the Celestials to protect humankind from the Deviants. The director, Chloé Zhao, previously explained, “It’s about this group of incredible immortals, but through their journey, we really get to explore what it means to be human and humanity on our time on this planet.”

It’s also explained in a description for the film that following the events of Avengers: Endgame, “an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.”

The director also teased that the movie will be bigger than Avengers: Endgame. It’s going to be really interesting to see how this turns out.

Eternals will be released in theaters on November 5th, 2021.
