Netflix has released a new Halloween-themed promo spot for The Witcher Season 2 titled “Geralt’s Monster Mash” and it’s set to the classic Halloween classic song, “The Monster Mash.”
The promo puts the spotlight on several of the monsters that Henry Cavill’s Geralt has faced off with and destroyed, but there are a few new monsters featured in The Witcher Season 2 footage.
You can spot the new creatures from The Witcher season 2 around the 15-second and 30-second mark in the video. The first looks like a strange spider-like creature with an eyeball. The second features three skeletons that are bound together.
The video was shared on the show’s various social media platforms on Halloween. Each came with a different caption. The show’s Instagram caption read, “This is not a trick, there are two treats to be found here.” Their Twitter caption read, “Monsters big and monsters small, sharpen your swords and slay them all… if you can spot them.” Then there’s the YouTube caption that reads, “The White Wolf takes Halloween as a personal challenge. But keep your eyes peeled for a few sweet treats… you won’t want to miss what’s hidden.”
Hope you enjoy the video below!
The series also stars Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. The cast for Season 2 also includes Game of Thrones alum Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Yasen Atour (Young Wallender) as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion (Peaky Blinders) as Lambert, Thue Ersted Rasmussen (Fast and Furious 9) as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross (The Danish Girl) as Lydia, and recent graduate Mecia Simson as Francesca.
