We’ve got a new trailer for you to check out for the upcoming biographical drama feature, The Glorias, that is heading to Amazon Prime later this month.

The movie follows the life of iconic feminist writer and activist Gloria Steinem, portrayed by Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Lulu Wilson, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. They are joined in the cast by Bette Midler who portrays Bella Abzug, Janelle Monae as Dorothy Pitman Hughes, Kimberly Guerrero as Wilma Mankiller, and Lorraine Toussaint as Flo Kennedy.

Here’s the film’s synopsis:

Journalist, fighter, and feminist Gloria Steinem is an indelible icon known for her world-shaping activism, guidance of the revolutionary women’s movement, and writing that has impacted generations. In this nontraditional biopic, Julie Taymor crafts a complex tapestry of one of the most inspirational and legendary figures of modern history, based on Steinem’s own biographical book ‘My Life on the Road.’ THE GLORIAS (Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Lulu Wilson, Ryan Keira Armstrong) traces Steinem’s influential journey to prominence—from her time in India as a young woman, to the founding of Ms. magazine in New York, to her role in the rise of the women’s rights movement in the 1960s, to the historic 1977 National Women’s Conference and beyond.

This is a gripping trailer that sees Moore shine in what looks to be one of the great performances of her lifetime. I am stoked to see this movie and see what award nominations it garners. Check out the new trailer below, and see The Glorias on Amazon Prime on September 30th.
